Kennel Cough? 10/14/2011

My dog's got a cough and a cold, too, I think - she was snoring on the sofa last night and isn't normally a snorer.
Just wondering what the incubation period is for kennel cough as she was in kennels 10 days ago. She's had the kennel cough vaccine but that's no guarantee, I know, as my old dog came out of kennels with this and had had the vaccine.
She's eating OK - had a good breakfast (tempted with a faggot mixed in with her knobs). So I think I'll wait a bit before taking her off to the vet.

She's nagging me now for games so I guess she's not feeling too bad!

With two of Butty's puppies off to school, Butty and I began to feel a wee bit jealous, so I did a bit of looking around on the interent and found classes locally for grown up dogs. 

Just had a chat to the lady and guess what? One of Butty's puppies, Max, is booked on the Puppy Class with the same lady. How lovely. I did ask if Butty could go to the Puppy Class so mother and son could be together but it is only for pups! She has to go to the grown-ups class.

So Butty Mum and Puppy Grandma are off to school in November - we can't have the children being cleverer than us haha!

Butty is now back to tearing around the golf course at a million miles an hour as she used to do, pre-puppy. She seems to be emotionally back to exactly how she was and almost physically back to normal, but maybe she could still do with a sports bra when running that fast :-)

We wonder if she has forgotten ever having had her puppies?

Just back from the dog pamper parlour and here is our beautiful Butty Mum after her hair cut and blow dry. She's in her favourite relaxing pose with her back end looking like a skate fish :-)

She's had her pedicure and manicure - how small are those feet now?

And sporting her new, handmade, designer dog collar - oo er - only the best for this champion Mum! Because she's worth it (and because I got it as a free sample haha)
