Are Cocker Spaniels Greedy?

Well I think the answer has to be a resounding YES if they want to eat their hairdresser, the scissors and the pile of hair she's cut off, HaHaHa.

This message came from Oliver's sister today

Hello!
Hope you are all well.
just a quick update as Oliver has had his first hair cut!!
He is looking all grown up. We had him cut with scissors as apparently the clippers can cause their hair to grow back coarse? Anyway, the groomer said he was an absolute sweet heart but wouldnt stopping eating her, the scissors or the pile of fur on the table! cheeky man! He was also a little wriggle bum but I think you will agree he looks lovely after his morning of pampering!
Hi Ollie,
You look terribly handsome after your pamper session. Aren't you getting dark? And just look at that lovely tail of yours! Wonder if your hairdresser used the clippers on your curly cocker top knot (my mum says she has to do it that way on my head or I look as if I've been dragged through a hedge backwards, but I do hate the noise grrrr)
Love from Butty, your old Mum xxx
(and Puppy Grandma and Puppy Grandad send xxxs too)

We have had a letter today from Dillon and some more photos of him and his big brother Harry

Hi Mum, Grandma and Granndad

I have now learnt to use a computer so I thought I would wish you all a Happy Christmas.
What an exciting time this is, we have lots of presents waiting to unwrap ,and my brother Harry keeps telling me how nice Turkey and Sausages are.I  hope there is plenty left as there are 18 humans eating first                                                                                     I heard my human parents talking about getting a new Sofa, so I have been helping dismantle the old one by slowly eating it.( they don,t appear to appreciate my efforts) I am being very good for them, and they say I am better behaved than Harry.
Here are a few photo,s taken this pm and an old one of Me and Harry having a good laugh together.

Love, licks and kisses Dillon XXX

p.s what a good idea of Ollies I,d love to see my Mum ,brothers and Sisters.

Hi there,  Dillon, I love your hat! I bet that sofa tastes good but I think you'll like the turkey even more, I know I do. Today my Mum gave me a whole slice of ham without me even asking for it and she said its  because its Christmas. I like Christmas.
Have a woofing good day tomorrow, and I hope Santa has brought you and Harry something nice. I will miss you but maybe we can all meet up sometime like Ollie said

Lots of love and licks,
Butty

Exciting news from Ollie's sister today!

Hello!

Hope you are all well and feeling festive!
We love butties christmas jewellery in the form of snow but don't think you could add that too your pet fashion range!!

Just thought we would give you a quick update on the lovely Oliver Oxenbury Heath, he is being a super star!
He is loving his walks, fuss and cuddles and even sleeps on my head after his breakfast in the morning.

Oliver would love to meet up with his brothers and sisters next year in the sun, maybe for a run around the beach!
He loves other dogs and has a new toy - the pheasant - which is his favourite yet!

We saw all the other pups with their Santa hats on but Ollie refuses to wear his without having a mad 5 minutes and trying to eat the bobble off it so those photos were not successful, but i have attached some recent photos so you can see what a handsome fella he is becoming

Have a fantastic Christmas

Love Oliver & the Heaths

Thank you Ollie!  You are certainly a very handsome young man. But then you always were - even if I say so myself! I have something to admit to you and that's that my hat was a computer hat not real one, haha!

I've had my cut and blow dry and bath today all ready for Christmas and Mum says I smell a lot better. She has taken to wiping my snout with baby wipes - she says my gob smells of Stilton - why? how? Think she's just going a bit daft in her old age.

Have lovely Christmas, my beautiful son,
Licks and more licks,
Butty xxx

Hello Jac, my lovely!

Oh, I do know how tempting those balls are on the tree but do try to be good because Santa is watching everything we do from now on (so your Puppy Grandma tells me.) I'm trying very hard to be good.

My friend, Sparky, is coming over for Christmas day and my human sister and brother will be here too so I will have lots of fun.

You are doing well at your training, I'm very proud of you! I can't get the hang of lie down, I just seem to get too excited and forget what I'm meant to be doing

All my love and licks,
Butty Mum xxxxxx
(puppy grandad and puppy grandma send their love too and say you are the spit of me - I don't know as I'm not exactly sure what I look like)

Lots of love, woofs and licks from Butty xxx
This is me last year all dressed up, wearing my brand new snow boots and snow earrings - Cool eh?

I did enjoy eating my earrings - yum yum

Hope you all enjoy your first Christmas and are good boys and girls so Santa will visit you.

Rosie's Mum says

Good evening jane hope you are both well, just an update to say Rosie is growing so big now and is a cheeky madam.

She is nearly all black now, with a tiny bit if White patch on her tail!!!

So Rosie is all black but Max looks as if he's gone quite white in this photo!
Max's human Mum sends a message to his canine Mum

Dear Butty
Well Max 'graduated' from his puppy class and had a certificate to prove it. He has now started another dog class, a more social affair- he has christmas party next week! Fastest sit and waggiest tail get a prize!. Max's fur is really growing now and he is almost full size, i think...His favourite place to be though is next to us on the sofa having a snooze. Or running off with the laundry- freshly washed though, he's quite fussy! I'm afraid his eyes are looking white due to the flash in a few pics.
Cheers Max and family

Isn't Max just Soooo handsome?

Butty Mum didn't finish her course because she came into season. It seems as if she has painted a massive sign in pheromones and hung it outside the house - we have an army of hopeful males breaking into the garden each day. It wasn't like this before she had her puppies - we think now that the dogs know she is a real grown up woman

So excited to get these photos sent to me today from Puppy Dillon's Mum! My goodness he is still such a beautiful thing - no wonder he was the first to steal Puppy Grandma's heart :-) AND very brainy.
Here's puppy Dillon with his gorgeous big brother Harry
and again - the 2 of them running together! I think Harry is winning
Human Mum says
Hi There,
Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while but here is some of our news. Dillon has finished his training and was actually top dog, as he was always the one who cottoned on first to what was expected of him. He was especially good at re-call and came straight back, when some of the others came back to their owners via bushes, dogs and other dog owners. He ended the course with a certificate and a Rosette. Dillon continues to attract alot of attention from passersby who think he is lovely, and myself and Harry are often stood waiting while Rob is explaining various details of Dillon to various interested people. Dillon has lost his bottom puppy teeth and so we have to give him soft treats, and he quite likes his biscuits soaked in some Bisto gravy. Hopefully his big teeth will grow soon. This does not stop him enjoying a tug of war match with Harry and the rope.We have taken on a Dog walker for a mid morning walk for the boys and Dillon is a very good boy for her. Also she has managed to intervene a couple of times on him trying to have a good chew of the leg of the sofa. (We have since got some magic spray which seems to have deterred him, but regular observation is still required). Here are some photos we hope you will like. Love to all, Rob, Trish, Harry & Dillon

Butty Mum went to school for the first time last night to her bronze dog class.

Click and treat training - I think Butty Mum did quite well but Puppy Grandma and Puppy Grandpa were all fingers and thumbs with the clicker and the treat bag. These humans definitely needed to go back to school to learn better coordination, concentration and quicker responses.

So, I look upon it as back to school for the humans next week and the dog can just come along for the fun of it!
