This dog hoodie for the boys keeps us chuckling! This should suit many male dogs as most owners do think their boy dog is the dogs bollocks - I certainly thought my old dog, Bob, was :-)

Whatever next - earrings for dogs?

These snowball earrings were totally on trend last winter - I wonder if they will be popular again this year?

I've just been sent this photo of Mia who has had her Christmas present early! Doesn't she look just absolutely beautiful in this hot pink Puppia harness?

Mia is a French Bulldog and is wearing the size large harness and it fits her perfectly. I think she looks quite pleased with her present :-)
I love these Puppia harnesses - the perfect solution if a dog pulls on the lead - mine does and I find this a godsend when I need to put  her on the lead.

My poor dog has got a cough today and so I decided it was a good time to try out a dog harness. Our dogs have never been trained to walk properly on a lead because they don't spend much time on one - we only put a lead on for a minute or so and then we are in safe places and the lead comes off.

A bad plan, I expect you are all thinking and I agree because it's horrible hearing a dog pulling and choking - and I slap my wrist for this lack of training.

Anyway back to the subject - I'm impressed!

I got the dog harness on her easily even though it was her first time and it really did answer - she wasn't pulling on her neck. It felt very safe and I was confident she couldn't escape from it.

I'm pretty sure it was comfortable - she was itching to try to see what I'd put on her for about half a minute but pretty soon she didn't notice she was wearing it.

For me, from now on, it's a harness and lead...... I've been converted and that doesn't happen too easily to a fogey stuck in her ways like this old Puppy Grandma.

I chose this colour because we were going down into the woods and I have to say she looked rather snazzy in camo but then mums are always predjudiced just a bit. At least hat's what my human daughter tells me when I say she looks beautiful.

We've picked some of favourites on the Christmas Gifts for Dogs  page on our  website for some ideas on what present to give a good dog this Christmas! All dogs are good dogs in their own way though - I'm sure they do their best and are always as good as they can be :-0

First off is the Big Boy or Big Girl Dog bed by Puppy Angel which looks like human divan bed - maybe this bed will help a little dog to keep off the owners bed?
We love these K9 dog T-shirts with matching ID tags - we think Grrr just says it all!

I'm totally stumped - I've bought some of these adjustable dog leads and I can't make head nor tail of them. How do they work?

This is what it looks like
There is a trigger clasp at either end and in between 3 rings which can be moved up and down the lead. 

Strangely, one large ring  in the middle and two smaller ones either side so  I guess the difference in size must be for some reason, too???

Just taken delivery of these harnesses for a puppy or little dog from Urban Pup - they are gorgeous and beautifully made. 

I just love the idea they have come up with of these complete harness sets with a matching lead and even a little cap, for puppies and tiny dogs to walk out in style without pulling on their delicate little necks. Aw!
